A catch-All email address is a mailbox set up to receive all emails sent to addresses that do not exist on the domain.
Note: We strongly recommend against creating a catch-all address unless absolutely necessary. Catch-alls allow a high amount of SPAM mail to come to your mailbox. In most cases it is better to set up forwarders for specific addresses. See our guide for creating forwarders here .
To create a catch-all mailbox in DirectAdmin
- Log in to DirectAdmin.
- Navigate to the appropriate user account and select the domain from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
- Under the E-mail Management menu select Catch-All E-mail.
- Check the box for “Address” and enter the email address that you wish to use as a catch-all.
- Click “Save”.
